Most of our work centers on helping clients with their brand leadership, social advocacy, and public policy through grassroots campaigns, brand and reputation management, and media relations, to name a few. Additionally, we have an amazing digital division - kglobal edge - that supports our clients' design, website, and strategic social media needs.
We're looking for interns who:

The following are internship opportunities we have for the spring 2012:
public relations: Love the media? Do your friends and family tell you that you could sell ice to an Eskimo? Our public relations intern must possess a love for all things media and have the ability to craft messages that resonate with the intended audience. Typically, duties will include compiling media lists, pitching reports, drafting press releases, compiling competitive analyses as well as market research, and general office tasks as needed. Preferred majors include: English, journalism, communications, writing, and the like.
digital (design and social media): Calling all designers! Attention social media lovers! K-global edge, the digital department of k-global, is seeking interns to help execute tasks on several fronts for clients.
- Design interns will be responsible for assisting our senior art director with proposal layouts, collateral design as well as website design for internal communications and client deliverables. Design interns must have extensive experience with all Adobe Creative Suite 4 or 5 programs and have a current portfolio to present during the interview (bonus points if you have it on your website). Preferred degrees include communication design, art, web/programming, etc.
- Our social media interns will be responsible for aiding account managers with current clients' Facebook and Twitter feeds, help craft fun and engaging tweets and status updates, help develop and promote Facebook contests as well as research the latest social media trends. Social media interns must prove to be active participants in the social media space and have a working knowledge on building online communities.
grassroots/public affairs/advocacy: Do you consider yourself a political junkie? Does the thought of influencing legislation presented to Congress make you feel warm and fuzzy? Our grassroots, public affairs, and advocacy interns will develop and execute targeted campaigns within key markets and legislative districts to help clients push their message and gain traction with voters and key influencers in that particular area or industry. Our ideal intern will be up on current affairs, be detail oriented, and be able to respond to quick deadlines. Experience pulling together market analyses and trends also a plus.
