Lilyanne has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector, including 11 years with American Express Company. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed people, information and “the process,” to deliver results for her employers and clients. As a Vice President, Lilyanne has held leadership roles in government affairs, public affairs, media, executive and employee communications, and corporate strategic philanthropy – both inside and outside the United States. For over ten years, she has worked alongside senior business leaders (including two American Express Chairmen and their direct reports) managing top priorities for her employers and clients. Lilyanne has a successful, consistent record initiating and managing campaigns and protecting organizations from challenging business, policy and political environments.
As a strategic consultant at Bryan Cave, LLP, VOX Global and the Institute for Strategy Development (ISD), Lilyanne represented many financial organizations including the Financial Services Forum, Bank of America, Citibank, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo. She also worked for several banking regulators including the OCC, the FRB and the SEC. Beyond the financial services sector, Lilyanne has supported other global brand-based organizations including AT/T, Microsoft and Walmart.
Lilyanne earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Montclair State University, her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her masters in communications and technology from Georgetown University.
