Vanessa Champlin is a senior communications expert who has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world's most respected organizations over the span of her career. Vanessa has received more than a dozen industry awards on behalf of her clients, and developed a wide range of expertise that encompasses brand development, consumer advocacy, community relations and product launches. Before joining k-global, Vanessa was a vice president at Ketchum Public Relations, a top global communications firm. At Ketchum, Vanessa oversaw the health and wellness practice in the Southeast and counseled a broad array of clients including Boehringer Ingelheim, IBM, Medtronic Corporation, Pfizer, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, UCB Pharma, Weight Watchers and more. As part of a small technology boutique, Vanessa began her public relations career during the dot.com era helping several companies successfully communicate through brand launches and IPO’s.
Prior to discovering her true professional passion, she was director of auditing for a global company in the travel and tourism industry. Vanessa is active in her local community and recently founded a non-profit organization, Garden4Good, dedicated to teaching children about healthy eating while fostering a sense of responsibility through community garden projects.
