Chris is a Senior Account Executive at kglobal who currently works with the U.S. Navy Office of Information (CHINFO) at the Pentagon. Chris brings with him strong background in research, media monitoring, and social media outreach.
Prior to joining the kglobal team, Chris worked on the Colombia Desk in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the Department of State. Chris closely monitored Colombian media and attended meetings with Colombian officials and non-governmental organizations, keeping stakeholders informed over developments concerning the implementation of Colombia's historic peace accord with the FARC. In addition to his time at the State Department, Chris managed social media outreach for the American Academy of Diplomacy by providing relevant commentary on publications disseminated by the Academy, significantly increasing public engagement. Chris also conducted research on behalf of a Colombian think tank in Bogota, creating an analysis that successfully anticipated the challenges Colombia currently faces after the signing of the peace accords.
Chris graduated with a BA in political science from the University of Indianapolis and a BA in Spanish from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Chris earned his Master's in Latin American Studies at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. While at Georgetown, Chris extensively studied citizen security, counternarcotics policy, and conflict resolution with a particular focus on Colombia.
