Colin is an Account Executive at kglobal and a member of the Army’s Office of the Chief of Public Affairs (OCPA) team. He has worked on all sides of the government/media/politics nexus, and he now applies his talents in public affairs for our team at the Pentagon.
Prior to joining kglobal, Colin worked briefly with MSNBC as a Production Assistant in South Carolina where he helped generate news coverage during the 2016 presidential primaries. Then, he went to Spain to work with the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Consulate-General in Barcelona. As a Public Diplomacy Officer, he developed creative strategies to engage the public about the United States and American culture. Additionally, he served as a de facto Press Secretary for the Consul General, drafting his speeches, talking points, and social media posts. After the State Department, Colin worked for a U.S. Congressman from South Carolina and handled media relations for a Super PAC based in Miami, Florida.
Colin is a proud second-generation Hokie. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 where he studied foreign languages and international affairs. He is fluent in Spanish, knows some French and German, and is currently teaching himself Russian via Rosetta Stone. When he’s not working, Colin can be found watching soccer. He is a huge fan of the European leagues, and has attended matches in England, France, and Spain.
