Heather is a vice president who offers 10 years of experience executing and managing public service campaigns. As a seasoned media relations practitioner who produces results for her clients, she also provides strategic guidance and proactive outreach to elevate clients’ reputations among key audiences and thought-leaders.
Prior to joining kglobal, Heather was the director of public relations for Strayer Education, Inc., a post-secondary college for working adults in 15 states and online, where she managed an ongoing public relations strategy that highlighted student success stories, academic quality and created a community partnerships initiative. Heather honed her public relations and social marketing skills on both the agency side and the client side. Working for Fleishman-Hillard, she served on the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign, and at Golin Harris, she received accolades for work on the U.S. Postal Service and Postal Inspection Service accounts, while also serving on the FDIC and National Turkey Federation accounts. Previously, she gained invaluable experience while working at National Public Radio, where she was part of the Policy and Station Services team. Heather graduated from Randolph-Macon College, where she majored in English and secondary education.
