We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2017 Internship Class!
Are you a fun, clever, motivated type who wants to work for the corporate but non-corporate, agency but non-agency, big but small, new but experienced culture that will make any other job look boring?
kglobal is a growing public affairs firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. We are a team of storytellers, digital artists, and politicos who help our clients influence public policy issues or increase their market share with campaigns that combine social media, grassroots, and public relations into one powerful punch.
At kglobal, our interns are a valuable part of our team. You'll receive real-world experience, craft client-facing products, and wear lots of hats - all while living in the most powerful city in the world. The internship program is designed to expose professionals-in-training to a wide variety of practice areas and industry skills, such as:
Do you consider yourself a political junkie? Do you want a career centered around influencing legislation and developing relationships with stakeholders? You will help strategize and execute on targeted campaigns within key markets and legislative districts to help clients push their message and gain traction with voters and key influencers. Ideally, you will be up on current affairs, detail-oriented, and able to respond to quick deadlines.
What is user experience? It’s how someone feels when they’re browsing a website or reading a tweet, viewing an ad, or listening to a podcast. At kglobal, our Digital + Social Media program will develop your skills in crafting retweetable social media posts and websites that people actually want to be on. Throughout the internship, you’ll be continuously challenged and inspired to work on videos, blogs, social media, website enhancements, and maybe even a Vine or two. You’ll gain experiences key to landing your first millennial job™. (If this is your primary interest, please answer “Why Are You Awesome?” in 140 characters or less.)
Leave your spec work at the door. At kglobal, you’ll do real work on real clients. Brainstorm ideas, then execute. Bask in the glory for a second. Then, do it all over again. Previous Research Associates have seen their work in digital ad campaigns, print and outdoor, and on the front pages of NPR and Reddit.
You should possess a love for all things media and have the ability to craft messages that resonate with your intended audience. Typically, duties will include compiling media lists, pitching reporters, drafting press releases, market research, and compiling competitive analyses.
Tell us a little about yourself.
