Based in Los Angeles, Noam’s career experience spans both coasts and traverses national politics, trade associations, international public relations, brand and corporate communications, non-profits, and business development. He is a seasoned writer and has been an advisor to elected officials, corporate executives and internal teams and initiatives.
At kglobal, Noam is director of its West Coast operations and leads national commercial business development strategy and initiatives. His career began in Detroit, Michigan with Chrysler Corporation in the Office of the Chairman, working on research, public affairs and editorial services. He then moved to Washington, D.C. to work as press secretary for U.S. Congressman Sander Levin, then moved to Connecticut in his role as chief speechwriter and deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman during his first successful campaign for national office.
Once back in the nation’s capital, subsequent experience includes account director at one top-five international public relations agency and Deputy Director of global new business at another. He has also managed his own communications shop and served as chief communications officer at United Way of America.
Noam is a graduate of Michigan State University and (totally unrelated) has published three works of fiction, available exclusively at the Amazon Kindle store, under the ingeniously clever pen name of N.M. Gelfond.
