With over 15 years of experience leading marketing projects in the nonprofit credit counseling/financial education realm, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge in both the traditional and digital marketing arenas. She specializes in building brand strategies, website redesign, content creation and social media campaigns. Always eager to get her hands dirty, Sara loves the creative process. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas or encouraging group discussions that foster that creative spark, Sara’s passion is connecting with people and finding out just what makes them tick.

Sara came to kglobal from Money Management International (MMI), a nonprofit serving the needs of consumers facing credit card debt and dedicated to improving lives through financial education. Managing a team of marketers, Sara lead efforts to build/redesign company websites to enhance user experience, improve local search rankings, and drive conversions.

Prior to MMI, Sara was at Richmond-based Clearpoint leading digital teams to build awareness and promote organic growth through inbound marketing campaigns and smart search engine optimization tactics. Sara’s team also garnered several awards such as the Communicator Award for “best financial services online campaign”, and the People’s Telly Award honoring excellence in video and television for an animated web video commercial.

Sara earned her B.S in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and a Post-baccalaureate degree in Information Systems from VCU School of Business in Richmond, VA.
