Julie Springer is an award-winning marketing and public relations professional who has worked across a brand range of industries providing strategic communications, marketing, public relations and crisis communications. She currently supports kglobal in business development and consultation on communications.
She spent almost a decade working in the Middle East supporting high-profile companies such as Halliburton, KBR and Saudi Aramco.
At Saudi Aramco, she was the first marketing and communications professional to be embedded in a business line supporting Aramco’s technology division in the global commercialization of technology products. She was also the first American woman to chair the company’s crisis communications team, reporting directly to the CEO, and the first person to faciliate an all-access media visit to Aramco by CBS 60 Minutes, resulting in a two-part series.
She is the recipient of both the American Marketing Award and the Public Relations Society of America Bronze Anvil award for the rebranding and repositioning of Shell subsidiary, Shell Energy North America.
Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in creative writing and mass communications and a certification in Management and Leadership from Wharton Business School. She’s also a certified change management expert and is certified on National Incident Management System (NIMS) through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
