Narvia Summers is an Account Supervisor with kglobal supporting innovative campaigns with the Department of Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO). As a graphic designer, Narvia creates impactful, engaging material that clearly communicates the importance of awareness and prevention.
Prior to joining kglobal, Narvia has worked as a Graphic Designer for the Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission branding and marketing events and classes for Harmony Hall Arts Center, Montpelier Arts Center and the Publick Playhouse. Before that, she worked for Sodexo as a Senior Graphic Artist where she developed their Video Production Department creating standard operating procedures for video filming, editing and performing in studio as well and remotely. Narvia’s previous experience with federal agencies include The Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, National Park Service, and the Department of the Navy on a contract from EG&G, WASC. She worked on projects such as the 100 Years of Flight display in Rockefeller Center, the 2002 Winter Olympics Flight Plan materials and the Memorial Day commemorative banner for the John A. Logan Museum.
At the University of Maryland College Park, Narvia earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Art Studio with a minor in Graphic Design and in Art History.
In her spare time, Narvia likes to knit, crochet, and garden. Warning: bouts of random singing are eminent.
